The right side of my hair is a little longer then the left side of my hair and I heard that if you trim your hair it will grow so I was wondering if I cut the left side of my hair will it even up to the right side or not,and should I just cut it all even and hope it grows longer.Does Cutting the shorter side of your hair make it even up to the longer side of your hair?
i didnt even really get the question but the longer side is too long the right side may never really catch up. Your best bet is to cut it all one length for a quick fix or, keep trimming the long side so the shorter end can catch up and with breakage and split ends it could take on average a year for that to happen.Does Cutting the shorter side of your hair make it even up to the longer side of your hair?
If you trim your hair it just makes it seem longer because your dead ends wont break off.
If you trim the right side it should be fine.
Just don't take to much off.

Within a week you will most likely have gotten used to it.
Do go back to the salon ASAP and let the manager know this is not what you wanted. They should give you a refund.

You didn't say it is a bad haircut so i will assume it isn't. Go back to the salon and tell them how you feel. I own a salon and if any of my staff or myself cut someones hair too short then i would be happier if they came back and told me than i would be if they just stayed away. I'm not suggesting that you let them cut it but ask them for a few ideas on how to style it while YOU WAIT FOR IT TO GROW. Sorry but thats the best thing to do. I know this sounds like crap but play about with it and try to get on with it while it grows. Do go back for advice.

I'd bet it's not too short at all it's just the shock! Give it a few days of styling in your normal manner and you'll grow to love it!
Straightening will only make you hair longer by half a cm, if your looking for a quick fix try hair extensions which cost expensive, for a long natural longway rub olive oil on your hair tips to moisturize it making it healthier and look for a g啤od shampoo and conditioner to help achieve that. -Extensions. Don't go for permanent extensions as this could put strain on thin or oily hair. I would say good quality clip ins made from yaki hair (Japanese synthetic) or real human hair are best. you can buy them in wefts from all good beauty shops, or ebay is excellent for finding something. You can also be adventurous with colour as well to contrast your own hair, or just blend in.
-Wigs are BAD NEWS. If you style your hair to go underneath a wig, it could ruin your own hair.
-Straightening with ceramic straighteners, and blowing dry with a round brush and a thin nozzle downwards from the root will always help. Add some serum and good to go!
-Accessorise. If your hair is chin length, tucking one seid behind an ear and securing with a pretty grip or slide will help ^_^
-If your hair isn't suitable for extensions at the back (i.e. too short), add some length to the front!
-if you have a fringe, clip it back. Tamed fringes (not feathered fringes) make hair appear shorter, so try for a lighter fringe, or sweeping it out the way.
-Wear it up! If cute bunches, or a very scraggy loose ponytail are very chic and casual! Ponytails instantly make hair look longer.
-Hair falls are ingenious!
-Smooth it so it's not flicked out or in and has no kinks. Straight hair is longer hair!
-If it's short and flicks in top you face, have it cut so it stays away from your face. Shorter hair that falls in the face looks shorter than if it's feathered away from the face.
-Don't wear alice bands, or comb your hair so it sits very far back on the head as this takes length out of the front.

i got a highlighting job done last january and i heat style a lot, and it's kinda fried. i do care a lot for my hair so it's not AS bad as it would have been if i hadn't babied it.

I got my mum to just bleach my whole head to a whity blonde colour it was alright but now so dry and crap looking, so now I'm growing my mousy blonde colour out, its grown an inch. My mum cut my split ends off the other day but I don;t think I'll let her anymore, I wanna grow it out like a hippie ;)

I am a male and I have URLs to pictures of how I used to cut my hair and more current ones with the longer hair. I can't decide which I like the best. I have been told that both look nice on me but I was wondering if anyone had some good insight into it. I could even possible do an ';in-between'; look of the two styles.

the layers were cut shorter like near my ear and then more going down and the person also shaved the ends (idk if u kno what that means but it like makes them thinner and gives more style) and she also made the layers kind of choppy and uneven..it looks really good..my asian friend got it too..also my bangs were done at an angle.
You should get a bob with hair longer on the sides and a little shorter in the back and layers in the back as well. You can keep your bangs long and it will look good too, and that way you can tie them up with bobby pins or whatever

Bleach it a real light if you want a light blue purple. The blue purple is put on after with punky color and has to be maintained every so often. This type of highlights grows out really well. Use a ponytail to keep the top section up. then bleach the one inch stripe underneath using foil.

If you know how to use them then use the thinning scissors so they get that uneven real hair look at the ends i had to cut mine directly across because i don't own a pair and they still look really cool the best advice is to cut a bit a little at the time they look OK being a bit longer and don't look very good if they look too short.
