I specifically told her ';longer than last time,'; and last time they barely cut anything. She left his coat really short and I can barely recognize my dog. He isn't shaved but his coat is too short. He didn't even have many matts. His fur looked like an even orange color and now since it is too short it has different tones. Will it grow the same? And about how long will it take? It will probably grow very quickly and the tones should even out as the hair gets longer. You should be more satisfied with his coat in 2 to 4 weeks.
Pomeranians can be affected by a hair loss condition called Alopecia. You can research it online. I would recommend not letting your dog be shaved as that can cause alopecia.
Here is something you can do to try to insure the coat length is what you want next time - as his coat grows longer, measure it when it is the length you want it cut to next time so that you can tell them 1 inch or whatever. Good luck!
