I think your hair length sounds good, as long as it's not a rugged rats nest a guys hair can be any length. I know a guy with hair to his waist, which I don't like, but he does. And that's all that matters.
I have long hair... middle of my back and my bangs come down about 3 inches lower than my chin. I part my hair so people can see my face and tie it in a pony tail when i work so it doesn't catch on fire cause I weld. anyways.... Just tell them that you will get it cut. When they ask you ';when?';, you say ';sometime';. That normally ends the conversation.
