I got a short hair cut a few years back. My mum also has short hair and we both find it's a relief to have it short. It's nice. We both didn't regret it. If you are at all doubtful then don't do it. I used to have very long hair which I always dyed black, it looked lovely and I was very attached to it but the colouring took it's toll and I was forced to have it cut very short. This was over a year ago and I am still unhappy at having lost my lovely long hair. Yes it's just hair and it will grow back but it you think you might regret it, then chances are you will regret it.
mine was past my shoulders up to like when i was in 5th grade, then my parents talked me into getting a pixie like cut and i hated it on me. it made my hair actually look thicker. but it wasn't exactly a pixie cut. but if you think you will like it, i would try it :)
your hair will grow back. it may take a while cuz it did for me and it sucked but at least i know that i dont like it and wont do it again instead of wondering for the rest of my life about it. lol

When I was around 9 years old I had my cousin who's a hair stylist cut my hair, a little past my shoulders and I loved it after wards but my mom doesn't like my cousin and she was mad I lied to her about getting tree sap in it.. so she took me and had it cut off to a little past my ears, lying to me because I thought I was getting something different... I hated it :/ but now my hair has grown out.
it depends on your face-shape
i got my just past shoulder length hair cut short when i was 16 and i hated it
it made my face look really round and fat
it also took more to maintain as i had to style it everyday with putty or gel and i couldnt do much with it at all
in those days (well 10 years ago!) extentions where very very expensive so i had to put up with it while it grew back out.
if you dont like it now you could always buy clip in extentions
I used to have long hair and I cut it short to above my shoulders. I loved the change. The thing is that you always have to do your hair when its short...at least i did because it would naturally be the way i wanted it to be. But its easier and a lot faster to do it. I loved the change i kept it for a couple years now im trying to grow it out. I would say do it as long as u dont mind doing your hair often. its hair it can grow back! im glad i did it.

i used to have long beautiful hair, it went down past the middle of my back, and i wanted the ';scene'; hair cut, and i now regret it everyday.
if your hair is naturally straight i guess you wouldnt have much as to a problem with it.
but be careful.
when i was younger i had long hair and had it all cut off short.
i have to admit that for a il bit i wondered if i had done the right thing but over all i loved it! and would never go back to having long hair.
just make sure you get you hairdressers opinion as they wil be able to better tell you if that style will suit you.

i had long hair and then i cut it just a bit shorter than shoulder length, and i liked it for about a month but then after that i really started to want my long hair back and really regretted it and i cut my hair short like 2 years ago and it still isnt long at all.
My hair was quite far below my shoulders,about 5inches.
%26amp; i had it cut to a very short bob a few years ago.
I regreted it so much! I brought extensions.
It depends how much you love your hair really.
