I just got a short hair cut and hate it! What do you suggest I do to make my hair grow longer, faster?

Honestly, nothing makes hair grow faster. Try styling it differently, using different products, and wearing hair accesories until it gets longer (at which point you can continue to grow it out or get a cut you like). I'm willing to bet, though, that it looks great but that you had a drastic cut? Cutting hair short, particularly if you've never done it before, can be really drastic and freak a person right out. You'll see tomorrow by people's reactions. I'll bet they'll like it. I LOVE short hair...my hair is currently long so that I can have lots of options for my wedding March 31. April 1 I'm cutting it all off!I just got a short hair cut and hate it! What do you suggest I do to make my hair grow longer, faster?
I had the same problem my outcome? I got used to it I told the hairstylist to cut it past my shoulders she did right to my shoulders I was soooo mad give it a day or two you will get used to it trust me!!!!.I just got a short hair cut and hate it! You are in luck! Hats, caps, and bandanna handkerchiefs are really popular right now. Accessorize and you just have to be PATIENT. Some people take PRE NATAL VITAMINS. IT DOES MAKE HAIR GROW BETTER.
well you could wear a wig untill you hair grows back but if you don't want to than i don't know what to tell you
short hair is awesome, easy to manage and fashion foward. maybe you're just not used to it, but after a while if you still hate it, try extensions, but dont get the cheesy britney spears trashy kind
Well if you really hate it you could get hair exstensions but I wouldn't they can ruin your hair though only thing you can really do it brush it a lot and keep it healthy and to make it healthy some good home treatments is too cover your hair in loads of mannoise and cover your hair with seran wrap and let it sit for like 10 min then take a shower or poor beer in it then obviously take a shower but just brushing it a lot will make it grow faster.
My mother used to use unflavored gelatin to make her hair and nails grow. You drink or eat it, it comes in packets you can mix with water and i would imagine that you could mix it with other things as well. I myself have used the Mane and Tail (horse shampoos and conditioners)they sell it at places like Walmart, CVS and Rite-Aid.
well what i would do is wear extensions untill it grows out.
HAIR EXTENTIONS!!!
chances are it's not as bad as you think! ;)

Hair grows at it's own pace, the only thing you can do to help it along is to brush a lot at your scalp to stimulate your hair follicles and maintain a healthy diet. Massaging your scalp will help also, but not too much.
this really works, but it has to be done on june 24th. st. John's day. Somebody named John or Juan that was born in june 24 has to cut your hair(just a little bit), and it will grow faster. it has to do with metaphisics.
Unfortunately, there is nothing out there which makes your hair grow faster or thicker -- no matter the claims hair care products profess to.

I had a few really bad haircuts -- some which actually made me look like a boy. I wore hats I liked until the hair got shaggy, then styled it with curling irons, gel, foam, anything. It's possible that the short cut is only awful to you (though you're really the only person it really should matter to) and your displeasure with it will reflect on how you carry yourself. I promise you that though there might be some guys or girls who think your cut is awful, there are others who notice your interesting new look and find you more attractive for it.

You also can consider getting weaves or a hair extension at another salon. . . even a small yet very long braid with beads on it might make you feel a little more feminine. Adding bright temporary colors also might give you more control over your pleasure with your hair while you grow it out.
I would take some time to adjust to the hair cut. The same thing happened to me and I was stressing out about it but then everyone I would see would give me such great compliments on my hair and I began to adjust to it and like it. Someone who I had taken one class with before for 3 hours for work and hadn't seen for like 3 months even commented on my hair and said you cut your hair didn't you? it's looks great. I couldn't really remember her so the fact that she noticed my hair was like wow.
Brush, brush, brush. It stimulates your scalp and in turn that makes your hair grow. Not overnight, but faster.
I don't know what to do to make it grow faster. Actually, you hair will grow faster in hot weather; not sure why. But I was going to suggest that you go ';funky'; with your hair cut! Short hair can be very cute and sexy at any age! I use a soy-based pomade in my hair (QVC has a great one! called Paul Coppola) or Mudd. I like the soybean and it keeps my hair conditioned. A little goes a long way! A little spot rubbed between your palms, then work it from the back to the front. It will hold without hairspray and give you a piecey look that's popular now. Here is mine, I love it! Mayber you will learn to enjoy the convenience and style. If not, hair always grows back, honey. Godloveya!

Wear a HAT,wait it out.
dove...or miracle grow!
Don't fret - it's hard to adjust to a new style right away, especially when you lose you're long hair. I'm sure it's adorable. But to grow out your hair, just treat it carefully. If you can, skip a day between washes so you don't over dry your hair. Brush with a high quality boar bristle brush to disperse the natural oils from the root of your hair to the tip. Get regular trims to keep the ends healthy. Be careful with hair elastics and barretts so that they don't pull and stress your hair. Choose a gentle shampoo and conditioner and use a weekly or daily clarifying shampoo. Believe it or not Suave and Head and Shoulders are some of the best shampoos for keeping your hair healthy. Avoid blowdrying if you can, and if you must blowdry, don't use it on the highest heat setting. The better you eat, the healthier your hair is. I hope some of these tips are helpful!
The most important thing at this point is keeping the hair you have healthy, to avoid breakage. Condition your hair, try to avoid a lot of heat (blow drying, curling irons). Brush your hair for about 30 minutes each night. This will encourage blood flow to the scalp, and help encourage hair growth. If the shortness is really bothering you, think about buying some of those removable hair pieces (on combs). You can also draw attention to your eyes.. use a smokier application of eyeshadow that will draw attention to your eyes, rather than your hair.
hair extension's : )

you can buy extension's that you put on at home and last for weeks then take out and reuse!

i have the best extensions i love them and its so easy to go back and forth from short to long hair ( my hairs a bit above my shoulders, and when extensions go past my boobs )

i loveee it. best investment in my life!

i payed like 50$ from my hair dresser, but completely worth it!!

Good luck Hun ! :)
Folic acid is the key ingredient to hair growth so take folic acid supplements over the counter,

Cutting off split-ends and daily massaging your scalp prompts hair growth.

I also once read that to make your hair grow faster wash your hair with celery juice once a week, leave it in with a shower cap on your head for 20 minutes then get in the shower and wash and condition like you regularly would.
