omg i was the same...my mom and dad wouldnt let me cut my hair....and like..the day before yesterday..my mom cut it....but i convinced her to give it to locks of love..
now its like..below my sholders..
but its so boring so i want to get layers..or the side sweep..
but my mom dosnt let me get layers..

It solely depends on the shape of your face, that determines whether you look better with short hair or long hair. I personally like girls with long hair, but that's not important, what's important is which one U THINK look better! :)

It doesnt matter what anyone else wants or likes .Its what you want you have to be happy with it and comfotable.All boys are different some like long hair some like short some boys will like both and to alot of boys it wouldnt matter either way if they are attracted to you .

As a general rule, boys prefer long hair but that doesn't mean that you have to have it. To the shoulders would still be in the long category, I would think.

I don't think it's hair that boys should like, and if boys even care I think that's a bit shallow. It really just depends on the shape of your face. You should look up on the interent ';best cuts for my face'; and maybe you'll get something out of that.

Tell your mother that hair grows. It's not like you're asking to shave your head and then I would say the same thing... Hair grows.

why don't you just do it how it looks good on you. short hair looks alot better on some girls and long hair looks better on some girls. for me personally, i like about chest length hair in layers.
Listen to you Mom and keep it long. Remember, if you cut it short you have to live with her.
Find some cute hairstyles on the internet. Have fun trying new things/ideas.
Also, forget about those dumb boys. If they don't like you the way you are, then they're not worth it.

Keep it long...with short hair you can't do as much fun stuff like with long. Guys will notice long hair more, but if asked they don't really say a preference.

Many things come into play. What type of hair do u have curly straight? Then is ur face round or ovalish? Watever hair cut makes u look pretty is the one for u. If u look nice with the haircut and if the haircut suits u then the boy will like it no matter what his preference.
