My 5 year old wants to cut her long hair into a short bob?

should i let her? her hair is currently to her butt and it curls at the ends....

which means brushing is a little hard for her cause it tangles.

here is her hair in a ponytail

I would say go for it! Your daughter is just adorable, and that hair cut would look so cute.My 5 year old wants to cut her long hair into a short bob?
I would bargin with her. Ask her if she would like to get her hair cut to her sholders first to see if she will like it. If she decides after that has been done she still wants it then let her get the bob cut. It is a very cute cut, but like someone else said unless you blowdry it her hair wont look like the picture bc it looks wavy, and when you do cut it it may turn out a little curly. That is something you can ask the hairdresser. If you go to the sholders you will know how curly her hair really is.

No matter what hair style she has your daughter is beautiful!
The cut is so cute..but from the pictures it seems like your daughter has wavy hair so dont expect her hair to look like the bob in the picture, unless you blow dry it straight which may require a daily commitment. Either way if she wants it, I dont see any problem with it, just make it clear that haircut requires time for wavy hair.
That's sooo cute. Sure, I had my hair short and do now. I used to have it long as a younger girl 2. She'll look just fine in her bob. It's so much work especially if the hair is thick. =) She's going to look even prettier w/ a bob.
Do what you think is best. She is too young to be deciding what she wants to do with her hair. If you think the hair cut is best then do that if not then don't.
Her hair will grow back. If she really wants it, let her. I think either way your daughter will be just as adorable.
Let her, It will grow back if she dosn't like it
