I heard the longer you don't wash it, the faster it grow.My hair is cut really short and I donot like it what products can I use and how long will it take to grow back
Step 1) Cut your hair. The secret to long hair? Strong hair. And that means getting rid of all damaged ends. So, believe it or not, your first step is to suck it up and head to the salon for a good snip. How much is enough? Unless your hair is very thick or very curly, have the stylist trim until your hair is all one length (as short as the shortest layer in your hair). All-one-length hair stays healthier and that means you can grow it without having as many trims from here on out. Thick- or curly-haired girls will want to keep a few long layers to help weigh hair down. You don't want to look like a mushroom-head as your hair grows out.(Step 2) Give yourself a head rush. Kick your hair follicles (and hair growth) into high gear by increasing circulation to your head. How? ';There are three easy ways,'; says Riquette Holstein, author of Grow Hair Fast. One, get more exercise so your heart is pumping (yet another reason to get up off the couch). Two, flip your head upside-down once a day, brushing your hair from roots to ends (use a natural boar bristle brush to prevent breakage). Three, massage your scalp daily, using your fingertips. ';You can do this while you are shampooing or just sitting around watching TV,'; says Riquette. ';It feels really good!';(Step 3) Eat right. ';You know That expression ';You are what you eat';? Well, it happens to be true. Hair can only stay long and healthy if you eat well-balanced meals. Foods rich in vitamin A (dairy products, fish, spinach, apricots), vitamin B (meat, fish, bananas, leafy green veggies), vitamin C (citrus, melon, tomatoes and potatoes) and vitamin E (nuts, broccoli, whole grains) are essential for truly healthy hair. Feel like eating a steak tonight? Perfect. Red meat is rich in iron and zinc, two nutrients proven to help your hair grow its fastest.
(Step 4) Stress less. Studies show that hair actually grows slower when you are stressed to the max. Your hair also needs a good night's sleep. So chill out, and get some shut-eye already.
(Step 5) Keep your hair clean. Oily roots and product build-up can clog follicles and prevent your hair from growing as quickly as possible--the max is about a half-inch per month. So be sure to shampoo daily (or even more often if you work out) and give your hairbrush a weekly cleansing so you don't rebrush in old dirt and oil.
(Step 6) Be kind to your hair. The longer your hair is, the older it is. So treat it with the respect it deserves. When you lather up, use gentle shampoos formulated for your hair type. Treat your locks once a week to a leave-in conditioner or hair mask. And try to lay off your blow-dryer, hot curlers and flat iron as much as possible. Throwing your hair up in a ponytail to disguise growing-out layers? Be careful not to pull too tight--you'll risk breaking your hair. Yikes.
(Step 7) Get regular trims. After eight weeks, your hair could be up to an inch longer. So don't leave all that hard-earned length on the salon floor. Ask your stylist to snip no more than an eighth of an inch, just to get rid of any split ends and end your above-the-shoulders hair rut forever. My hair is cut really short and I donot like it what products can I use and how long will it take to grow back
sorry it takes time for hair to grow back, you just need to keep it super healthy.... if you search in google, hair growth, this hair formula thing pops up and its shampoo and vitamins, but i cant say if it works or not. so what you need to do is stay away from heated appliances like striaghteners, and curling irons, they fry you hair and cause split ends and breakage... so your hair can grow an inch but since you have split ends, the split enditself will fall off. confusing i know! but i read that you and your hair should get at least 7-9 hours of sleep, and give your self weekly scalp massages, it gets your hair follicles going, and makes them grow a little :D make sure you hair is really moisturized too, try to fine some moisturizing hair products like silk serums and leave in conditioners and put them on by focusing on the tips of your hair.... also eat healthy! sugars and fat stop you hair follicles and your hair wont grow, lastly try to deep condition your hair monthly! ** if yiou do stle you hair every now and then with a straightener or w/e then use a heat prtoector ** AND dont buy ANY products with alcohol in them, that will dry out your hair and especially you ends and it will cause breakage, and dont shower everyday it will wash aways your bodys natural oils and strip the moisture away! hope this helped!
Yikes Scotty - you couldn't be more wrong!! Stimulation to the scalp (like from washing) promotes hair growth. Nioxin shampoo and scalp therapy conditioner also help to make hair grow faster. Other than that, hair grows on an average of 1/2 an inch a month, faster in warmer seasons. So - keep washing your hair and be glad its spring!
I cut my hair pretty short last August too and I didn't like it either. I cut is till it ended at the bottom of my ear and right now it is maybe to my collar bone and I think my hair grows pretty fast so, I would say you'll have probably a year until it grows back. Depending on how long you want it.
Once when my hair was too short, I went and got some light self tanner and put it around my ears and back of my neck very carefully. This helped me feel not so bald because of the white walls. also some people frost or hi-lite to make the hair seem like more.
Cut is a bit more. I like this cut: http://www.becomegorgeous.com/pictures/b
Of you can striaghten it, straighting makes your hair lokk longer
i heard mane n tail shampoo should help keep it clean so it can grow well also washing way too often causes loss of important oils neeeded for hair growth.
Lavender oil has been shown to increase hair growth so massage the oil once a week and soak for 30 minutes before washing. Try http://solutionsforhairgrowth.blogspot.c for more details.
Hair mousse will do the trick for now. Spike it a little. It will grow back to your desired length in 2 months.
You could always go to sallys and get some hair extensions :] thats what i do when i want my hair longer lol
