I think cutting it would be just fine and very cute. It bugs me when people tell you not to change your hair. I get that all the time. My hair is really long and its driving me crazy. Definitely ask a hair stylist's opinion but I think that maybe a cut that would be flippy and choppy would be nice. Like short but with all different layers.
