I am guessing it would be wavier. Because longer hair = more weight.. which means there is more weight which pulls the curls down making less waves. If it is shorter, there is less hair pulling down the waves meaning it can curl up more :)
It might stop the puffiness am not sure, I can't really tell through the computer screen, lol x

It's it's semi wavy (and by that you probably mean a very loose.. straightness wave pattern..?) it would be straighter-looking because the waves are so loose and barely there, and the shorter hair wouldn't be long enough to show off all the waves.
It would be more puffy I think. When hair is longer, it's weighed down more, so yeah, shorter hair tends to be lighter, so they puff more.

It won't really effect if it's straighter or wavier. But you're right, it will be puffier and will look a lot thicker and ';wider';.
no if you cut it it actually becomes curlier. hair straightens out more when its longer. its just easier to do (straighten/blowout) when its short
