How long will it take to straighten my hair if I cut it shorter?

My hair (when it is straight) goes down to right above the center of my back. It takes me about 2 hours to straighten it, since it is very curly. If I cut it to be a little longer than my shoulders, about how long do you think it will take me to straighten it?How long will it take to straighten my hair if I cut it shorter?
Okay I just KNOW I have the best answer to this question....

My straighteners are my obsession.

I also have curly hair so trust me, I know what I'm talking about.

Basically, the reason its taking you so long to straighten your hair is because you dont blow dry it straight.

Basically, divide your hair into sections, and blow dry each section, one at a time, until it is dry and basically as straight as you can get it. Then straighten the section with your straighteners. And do this for all your hair. It also means that it will stay straighter for longer.

My vote is that you should keep your hair long. I LOVE long hair and I'm growing mine longer. But I guess its your decision.

My hair goes to about half way down my boob and when I blowdry and then straighten my hair I can do it in about 25-30 minutes.....

Also, tie your hair into a ponytail when you go to bed. It means that it doesnt get wavy again in the night.

Hope this helps........xHow long will it take to straighten my hair if I cut it shorter?
my hair is medium length right now, %26amp; if i go 2 bed with a wet head at night %26amp; wake up in the morning to straighten it--it takes about 15 minutes. but it really depends on what kind of straightener you have. sucky ones aren't worth it, but if you have a good one it takes a good 10-15 minutes. walmart actually has a really good straightener for about $35 %26amp; works beautifully
well if your hair is thick, i would definitely recommend getting it thinned out when you cut it, and that would shorten the straightening time quite a bit.

and also, make sure you are doing small layers at a time. meaning, pull up all of the top layers and do the underneath. slowly let down small bits of hair and straighten.
my hair is wavy and its around my boob area it takes me about 15 minutess to straighten it.

its hard to determine exactly

it depends on how curly your hair is and how thick it is.

i guess if u cut to around your shoulders it would take off half the time

so maybe it would only take you an hour?
I got my hair cut a tiny bit shorter than my shoulder and it acctually takes longer to straighten and it doesnt stay as straight for as long, so i seriously advise you don't get it cut too short as i have found from my hair its much more frustrating.

Hope I helped !

Well it should not be taking you 2 hours right now but i have short hair and it takes me about 30 mins maybe. my hair is naturally curly too. When it was long to my mid back it only took me about 45 mins. I use a chi straightener, it makes a huge difference.
I have curly hair also

when it was a little longer than my shoulders it took me 30-45 mins and I had a chi

also i'm a perfectionist at straightening so it has to be good but yea usually 30 mins
Base from your length and texture of your hair it would take you approximately 45 minutes to an hour to straighten your hair with a straightening iron. If you use the brand 'Chi' it will take you less than an hour to straighten your hair. Good Luck!
30 or 45 minutes if it's taking you 2 hours now,

my hair has a spanish wave to it and when it let it air dry then straigten it it takes me like 15 minutes and my hair is like a little past my shoulders
I have the same problem when my hair gets long I don't even bother with straightening it, but when its shoulder length it only takes me like 20 minutes
Might take about 20 minutes if it takes you that long. If you do it with less care, about 10 minutes.
I would say it would take about half the time. About one hour. Can you answer my question now please?

It will take less time because you will have less hair.
with really curly hair it should take like 1/2 hour to 45 mins if you have a really good strainer.

Good Luck
maybe 30-45 minutes my hair is the same way and when i had it short thats bout how long it took me
when its shorter it will take less time. and longer takes more time... duh!
