Is the hair dye used in hair dressers/salon better quality than home dye kits?

Hi, is the hair dye used in hair dressers better quality than home dye kits?

Will it cause less damage to your hair?

Basically is it worth spending the extra money going to the salon?

Thank you :)Is the hair dye used in hair dressers/salon better quality than home dye kits?
(Miku!)

The hair salon I go to uses Special Fx for their unnatural dyes and you can buy that yourself at Sally's.

BUT they'll take better care of your hair for the initial dying.

Especially if you need to get it bleached for the color. Unless you know what you're doing, never bleach at home.Is the hair dye used in hair dressers/salon better quality than home dye kits?
yes, it is better. but you should do it from the box because you dont have sto spen as much money and you wouldnt have to keep on going every few months to get it done. also, if you get it done at the salon, and you want to die your hair from the box, since you have all of those cemicals from the salon, it can turn your hair green or another colour. i dont think its worth getting it done.

hope this helped %26lt;3
yes salons generally use colour that is not publicly available and colorist know the rules and laws of hair colour to get you the result you want hair is not just a piece of fabric that when a dye is applied to it will come out exactly what is stated on the box there are so many factors that go into getting the correct and true result and should be left to the professionals unless you have spent years learning colour and deal with multiple colour scenarios every day
