Why do HAIR STYLIST, HAIR DRESSER, and BARBER'S need to have STATE LICENSES to practice their trades?

it is mostly for the safety and sanitation aspect of our job, to make sure we aren't spreading anything (ex. lice)... not for the actually technical part of cutting hair... And in many states they still do shaving and i don't think you would want some dirty rusty blade on your face much less cutting you and possibly spreading HIV, AIDS, ect....





don't belittle other peoples careers it's very insulting, if you think it's that easy cut your own hairWhy do HAIR STYLIST, HAIR DRESSER, and BARBER'S need to have STATE LICENSES to practice their trades?
Because they may cut your ear off if they are not knowledge full.Why do HAIR STYLIST, HAIR DRESSER, and BARBER'S need to have STATE LICENSES to practice their trades?
Because it signifies that they have been trained and know what they are doing.
i know i like having someone style my hair that knows what theyre doing.
