I have long hair and don't want it short, but I have to get it cut above the ears for work...?

Do you think there is anyway I can have it cut so that it can grow back after my summer job is over?I have long hair and don't want it short, but I have to get it cut above the ears for work...?
Cut it so it covers your ears and no more. Its wrong you can't wear it the way U want.I have long hair and don't want it short, but I have to get it cut above the ears for work...?
Where do you work?! Hmm .. if you really have to cut your hair that short, i'd recommend clip in extentions for the time being as your hair grows in ! Or for after work you can just clip them in(: On www.hsn.com i'd recommend the human hair because it's going to be a while for your hair to get longer and the synthetic tangle into a mess after a month .. they are 500 on there but on ebay about 200-250 and you can dye %26amp; cut them just like your own hair, so it doesn't matter the color .. good luck (:
this would be easier if we knew you were a man or a woman - and to make it grow faster. trim it every couple of weeks
If you can comb and slick it back you can keep it a little longer and won't have to cut it above your ears.

What kind of job is it? Maybe yuo could wear a hairnet?

It takes a while for hair to grow. It only grows 1/2 inch a month. So it will take some time to grow it long again.
why? can you not wear it up? I do and i am in the restaurant business, and I wouldn't cut my hair if the asked me too, that is silly, why would you even think about.
I would try to cut as little as possible and then gel it back. That way you wont have to cut as much.
wow! if your a guy thats ok theres tons of cute haircuts for guys that short. for a girl... thats pretty short there are really cutr haircuts but no your hair wont be long when summer ends maybe 1/4 inch growth. id get another job and tell those people they are crazy
get gutsy: get a crewcut!
Sounds like your employer is discriminating based upon a sexist position. Are women allowed to have long hair?

As far as haircuts go, I would say that if you must keep this job get all of your hair cut evenly, and just barely above the earline.
