I have long, naturaly wavy (about to my belly-button) strawberry blonde hair, should I get it cut short?

Have you tried on wigs to see if it will suit you? You should do that before making any drastic decisions.I have long, naturaly wavy (about to my belly-button) strawberry blonde hair, should I get it cut short?
On one hand, you can grow it back, on the other, its a rare feature these days, and most people are hardwired to consider long hair deeply attractive. I would spend the haircut money on new accessories and see how you feel firstI have long, naturaly wavy (about to my belly-button) strawberry blonde hair, should I get it cut short?
If the ends are dry and spit yes. This does not mean you have to go short. Try a little shorter with some layers for a start. Just make sure you want to go short before you do it. Cutting hair is easy, putting it back is impossible.
It really is up to you. Are you tired of long hair? If you are, maybe cut it to something in between..that way you can do more with it.
it sounds very beautifull..i would just get a couple inches off
keep it long and put layers in ur hair. it would look very pretty. or if you want take like 5 inches off. u dont want ur hair too short.
no way keep it long hair kept nice or course is great
Don't get it cut short all in one go. Why not do a mid-length cut, right about to your nipples? Get some long layers cut in to add more movement (think Cosmo cover). If you're comfortable with that length, you can then go even shorter on your next cut. But if you suddently get a super-dramatic cut, you're bound to be freaked out and unhappy with it.
yea
no you will regret it my hair was down to my waist and i cut it becuase of split, dead ends. now my hair has been shoulder length for 7 years.........
yes but i would go slowly if you cut it all off at once you may be sorry but if you get a trim, and it's still to long you can always cut it again
Not too short, maybe a little shorter though. I love long hair, just not too long. Right in the middle.
Only cut it short if you don't *want* it long, regardless of anyone else's opinions. If it's unhealthy, do get a small trim. If you love your hair long, you'll regret cutting it, and won't quite feel like yourself anymore. I've dreamt so many times that I had mine cut, and woke up extremely relieved that it wasn't gone. Long hair is romantic and fairytale-ish. :O)

Note about blondechickad,'s post: it's a nice gesture to donate to locks of love, but only about 1% of donated hair actually ends up as a wig for a child (with alopecia, not cancer, actually). Seems kinda fishy to me.
If you decide to cut it, why not check with ';lockes of love'; and see if you can donate your hair to a kid with cancer? That way your beautiful hair is helping someone else too! sounds like you would still have plenty after cutting off the 10 or 12 inches needed for donation! I'd check it out!

My Philosophy is that it's only hair! Be Adventuresome! If you hate it... it will grow back, so what do you have to lose?
No. I'd say keep it long. I think long is very pretty. If you cut it, it will take years for it to grow back! Keep all your beautiful hair.
yes but no i bet it looks pretty but it might look prettier if it was a few inches shorter
No way what if you don't like it shorter it takes along time to grow. I also have blonde hair and I wish I had long hair like you. Long hair is in.
