The question should be ';Do I like short hair';. Okay say it out loud. Good. Now keep that in your head. Do you like short hair? Do you like all one length or layers? What shape is your face? Round? Oval? Heart? Strong jaw? Who gives a dam what the men like? If they liked bright purple hair, would you be considering what shade? No. I dont think so.
Im not man bashing here, but seriously. Sometimes what they like, doesnt look good on you. K? Anyway if its long and all one length, try taking off 4 inches throughout layers. Like 1 from the bottom, 2 from the next layer, 3 from the next and 4 from the final layer. Depending on how long your hair is depends on how much you might want to cut.
If it goes to your but, try chopping it up to where your longest layer is just below your bra and then take them up from there.

It all depends on what is going to look best on you. A lot of women wear their stringy or too frizzy hair long and it looks terrible where a sassy stylin' shorter cut with some style would be better. It depends on their bone structure. Some women look better with different hair styles.
I have long hair and no matter how many times I have cut it, I have regretted it. But, I'm about to go and do it again. This time I'm getting it layered so that it won't be all short at once. It's hard to go from long to short, but some people find the change refreshing. My sister-in-law just did it -- cut off 11 inches -- and LOVES it!! And she looks younger to boot. Go figure.

If you are considering a major cut, go try on wigs. You might find a style that looks really cute on you -- remember to consider your hair texture, if it is fine it will need styling the same as long hair to look good.
Well I can't speak for other guys out there, so I'll just speak for myself. I personally like girls with long hair past their shoulders, but even up to their shoulders is fine, but nothing more shorter than that. That's where I draw the line. If you cut it to your chin, I think that would be WAY too short in my opinion.
i myself prefer women with long hair. it makes them more feminine. if you ask me, i'll be telling you not to cut it.

lol i asked this same question wheater guys like short hair or long hair.I took the plunge and had my hair cut short and i think it looks better personally short hair looks pretty cool depending on the style.I wouldn't know what guys like better i'm a girl but guys should look on the inside more then hair lenght

Short hair is normally ugly, it makes women look weird or sometimes like a boy. But if it suits you, it can be the haircut for you. It looks incredibly hot on some women.
