I have really long hair that i am getting sick of, i want to cut it short but will i regret it?

I know I did =/ ...if you have a slight feeling you will, just don't get a drastic cut.I have really long hair that i am getting sick of, i want to cut it short but will i regret it?
I cut my have after a break-up : to be different. A new beginning. I wanted to look like a cute young jessica simpson. The girl bleached it and cut it too short. I spent over 2k trying to make it look decent - and then getting extensions to deal with my insanity attack. But, I should have realized that although short is cute and fun. My hairs takes a long time to grow - especially expecting it to grow all the way back to being long and sexy. It has been three years and my hairs is still not long.

I have resorted to tiny tiny trims. I would also say that if u are over 25 - be very cautious because you hairs does not grow that fast anymore. Just don't do it on a whim - schedule the appointment and feel it out. Then be patient with letting the hair grow on its own terms.I have really long hair that i am getting sick of, i want to cut it short but will i regret it?
I have had my hair short, (and I mean short), long, and shoulder length. I prefer my hair long. In the summer I can pull it off my neck and in the winter months it keeps my neck and ears warm. It all depends how ';you'; like it. If it is easier to fix short get it short, if you like it long leave it long. When I cut my hair short I did regret it because it looked better long. Do whatever will make you happy. Goodluck with your decision.
I have quite long hair (a bit past my waist) and I love it long!

I sometimes wish that I could have a ';different look'; though, so what I do sometimes:

I curl the ends into loose waves (the curling iron isn't long enough to curl my hair entirely, but is still looks nice).

I'll use unique clips/ barettes,

Once I braided little braids along the bottom half of my hair, so it was half and half,(I know these sound a little childish, but it you do it right it looks really nice. I got mucho comments XD)

The great thing about long hair is that you can do pretty much anything with it. Play with ponytails and braids (wrap a braid around your head as a hair band, use one as a ponytail holder! etc)

And make sure it always looks nice, so use a deep conditioner and snip off split ends!

On the other hand, a couple of years ago, my friend (who had hair down to her butt) cut her hair short, and she LOVES it! So it really just depends on how YOU feel about it.

Good luck!
well, it's the summer now. just try it. you won't know if you like it if you never tried. just make sure you get a good cut.

trust me, if it's a bad cut, you will loo horrible.

=\ just do it! since you feel sick of your long hair. maybe when you get short hair, %26amp; you regret it, you will appreciate your long hair.
I used to have hair down to my booty..and then i chopped it short, like chin length.

I don't necessarily regret the actual length, but the haircut and style wasn't very attractive or suitable.

It's just about finding a good haircut/style that flatters you...
No, i cut mine short and i love it!

Besides, your hair will look fresher and more alive once you get it cut because all the damaged hair at the ends will be gone.
if you do, it will grow back. I used to wear my hair down past my but, then chopped it all off, and now I rarely have hair past my shoulders.
my friend cut her hair short and she hates that she cant put it in a ponytail but she says it is easier to take care of overall she regrets getting it cut
i had long hair, chopped it all off and regretted it i missed being able to throw it in a bun
