If you have the courage, I recommend a short side parted pixie. It is a bold haircut, but such a refreshing look that shows a lot of self confidence. Ask to have it cut above the collar in the back and to mid ear on the sides with lots of layers and short bangs. I think you will be surpised to find a lot of uys prefer short hair to boring long hair. Below is an amazing short haircut. Hope you decide to go for it.
