Omg don't. I used to have long hair for years until i got it cut like two weeks ago. The hairdresser cut it a bit too short and i hate it. I can't wait for it to grow back so i can feel like me again.
My suggestion is, before you cut your hair, purchase a short haired wig. Wear it for awhile and hear what people say about hour ';new'; hair style. I myself have been growing my hair and I prefer long hair vs a short hair style.

You and your hair look extremely beautiful, however, your young so if you want a change then cut it as your hair will soon grow back again if your don't like it shorte . Anyway cutting hair worn long for sometime is a way of revitalising and strengthening the hair.
Why not have a classic bob this way you will not cut too much off the hair.

Leave it long try wearing it in different styles instead if you are bored of it ie curls, wearing it up etc or have some layers cut in or low lights.
Leave the length alone if i was you, but if your really wanting something totally shocking then cut it. Hair is just hair it does not make you the person you are inside, it can always grow again if you don't like it.
DON'T CUT IT! i used to have long hair like you about 2 years ago, and i cut it and i hated it cause i couldnt curl it the same and style it the same, im now trying to grow it again!
