im 46 years young with straight long hair and don't know how to have my hair. Some people say at my age it should be cut short what do you think?Should i cut my hair short or keep it long?
Hi Cassa, I am 40+ also and I think you would suit a long layered cut so you hair is more sculptured around your lovely face and I would get a light brown colour all over and blonde highlights/foils. I think sometimes hanging on to the whole blonde look can actually age you more. I used to be mostly bottle blonde and now a happier brown haired person with lovely blonde foils and I adjust them, more in summer and less in winter etc. =DShould i cut my hair short or keep it long?
I think a new hair style is necessary every three years. From what I can see in your picture I think You could pull off a shorter haircut but don't go too short and keep it feminine. Think Reese Witherspoon: http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j169/a
If you decide not too cut it I would Start using hot curlers to give your hair some volume. Think Jessica Simpson:

I think whichever way you go, parting it on the side is a good idea for your hair type and facial structure. It will also give you that extra volume that will boost the look of each length.
Either way you'll look really great for 46! Cheers to you my friend!
There is no certain age people cut their hair short. People cut their hair short because it's too much maintenance %26amp; because they're too busy too look after it.
I say just layer it a bit %26amp; maybe colour it (say go a light brown colour or something) to give you a whole new look (If that's what you want)
You should have your hair however you feel comfortable not how other people tell you it should be
=) Good Luck
I think you should cut it short. If you are nervous doing it all at once, then do it in stages. I think short hair is much more sophisticated look for women in the their forties. I would recommend goping above the shoulders with lots of layers and bangs, either in a short shag or a pixie haircut.
No I think short looks grannyish and dorky! Because at that age I think medium length is cute! If you cut it short then pick something very stylish and classy not a ';granny hairdue'; ! So if you like the way it is don't listen to others!%26lt;3
It depends. If you in yourself feel like you want a change, go for it. But there are no age boundaries when you have to get your hair cut. It's how you feel. Do what you want ;] Hope this helped! x
i think you fancy a change yourself by the sound of it. You should try a bob i think you would look fantastic with it.
goshh ur not even that old do what u want
maybe keep it around ur shoulders so its not too high maintenance if u have kids, job etc etc
but at the end of the day do what makes u feel beautiful :)
i say cut it. long hair adds age . shorter hair looks sophisticated
if your a busy person, short hair would be best. try shoulder length.
What do you want... and if you want to go for it!
