ive always had long hair my whole life but i always like change. i get so bored with the same thing for too long. i was thinking about getting my hair cut short, and i think id really like the outcome. but my hair is sooo thick and long and its really pretty and i guess its just hard so get it all chopped off. what do you think i should do?

EDIT: I just came across your question again after I answered it, and I saw the thing you added. Some other things you could do are cut it, a different cut, without loosing to much length. and the thing I always think makes a big difference is your bangs. If you get a different style on your bangs it will make a huge inpact. Another thing you could do is try coloring it. I think you should cut it BUT not as short as you want it

If your hair is so thick, then go get it cut but also get it layered! That way you can wear it up and out, make it wavey etc etc

try not to get it cut.. when I did I could never grow it back.. I would hate how it would be in the middle of being short and cute and long and cute but if u feel that its right in ur heart and u wanna do it... go for it! :)

if u make it work, i think it would look edgy, unlike every boring person around the world. do some changes, but seriously make sure u want it! cause u cant get it back , unless pay hundreds and get extensions like i did
I think that if you are bored with your look consider color and cut it into a long bob so that you can ease your way into an ultra short cut. i.e. Rhianna.
DONT! (oh i saw that america next top model shot today...i was hoping she'd win hehe)but u can only pull off long hair when ur young...save the short for when u get older...besides, it wouldnt look too good on u and i LOVE ur hair
