I had to tell him why I was gettig it all cut off and he could choose the style. Okay what in the world. Your mother in law is a dush...and so are you. Just tell your husband...so he might was to seperate for awhile or get a divorce...but what does the matter..he is your hsuband and should know the truth. YOu will find another man that will love you. Even if you end up falling out of love. As for your hair..it will probably take about a year to grow out to your sholders.

Very odd situation. Sounds made up to me however if this is true you MIL will probably still tell your husband. Just live with the cut it will grow. I am just surprised that a hair dresser will pick such a terrible cut doesn't sound right.

If this story isnt just a made up one due to boredom, well.. in my honest opinion, I think you should come clean to your husband and explain what happened. Obviously there are no excuses, and maybe some marriage counseling is in order, but its the best thing to do than be a victim of your MIL's strange yet amusing revenge tactics.
