but i really like that ';bad girl'; look (like angeline jolie) kind of the sexy, not trashy, biker look. So I want to dye my hair darker because I like dark hair and blue eyes.. and cut it shorter.. maybe a little longer then my chin..

Well, since that is not your natural blonde, then you'll need to be extra careful with more coloring so as not to damage your hair. One thing about going darker, if you get it too dark, it looks really fake! I have a friend with naturally black hair and blue eyes and as she ages, very gracefully, she dyes it with dark brown, NOT black, and it looks truly natural.
I would suggest that you don't go totally darker all at once. Do it in stages because your skin tone will tell you if you can truly BE a brunette. You don't look like your skin tone is really dark enough. You don't want to look like ';Morticia'; on the Adams family!!
Go ahead with the shorter cut, go to a darker, honey blonde and then darker the next time if you like. Maybe even an auburn shade! I also have a friend who is a natural ';dirty blonde'; and she went RED. Now, she says she'll never go back, and her husband doesn't want her too either! And that's after she tried frosting and going brunette. I have to admit I'm partial to redheads as I'm a natural one, with blue eyes too! What makes you think a redhead can't be sultry and have a ';bad girl'; look about her. Some of the sexiest ';bad girl'; women have been redheads.
You will have to touch up as much as a dark haired girl going lighter.

Definitly go really short. Here is a simple yet bold hairstyle. It will take some courage to go this short, but I think you will like the results.

Find something that you like online and print it out and bring it to your hair stylist, or ask her about it. She or he will be able to help. Also seek advice from a man in your life.

see this is the stage of your life ..where ..you have it your hair looks healthy nice ..its your true color...since your in a stage why not play with it ..yet instead of chopping it..why dont you wear a short dark wig..heres the point of it..you can allways take it off cut it to any length and if u dont like it ..you can chuck it..you cant chuck a style u might not like..darker is cool to dont get me wrong but for any style i would reccomened the wig play thing first...or u can get a computer enhanced image or take a pic of your self crop a wig on it i like that idea to...have fun..rembemebr try to to chop it before you test it..gabmlin fun at times but we dont wanna crap out..good luck either way if u remeber i'd like to see your new look u seem vary adventurous..have fun
