Seriously though- highlights with short hair is never a good look. It goes patchy and weird very quickly.
Your best bet is to go along to the barber/unisex place and ask them what sort of style would suit your face shape. They know more about this than we do after all. If your hair is very long you might want to go with a shaggy kind of cut first to get used to not having so much hair.
