DOES ANYONE HAVE A SIMILAR SITUATION?Should I cut my Extremely long hair short?
YES THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME N I REGRET BECAUSE THAT WAS A 1YR 1/2 AGO N I'M TRYING EVERYTHING TO HAVE MY HAIR THE SAME WAY IT WAS BEFORE N NOW IT SEEMS IMPOSSIBLE. I EVEN TRIED PROTEIN PILLS N IS NOT WORKING AT ALL. MY HAIR WAS SO LONG PAST MY BUTT N NOW IS SO SHORT IS UP TO MY NECK. I KNOW IS NOT EASY HAVING A LONG LONG HAIR BUT NOW IN DAYS GUYS LIKE GIRLS WITH LONG N BEAUTIFUL HAIR. I THINK THE HAIR IS WHAT MAKES A PERSON DIFFERENT N ATTRACTIVE. BUT THE DECISION IS URS SO GOOD LUCK :-)Should I cut my Extremely long hair short?
Very long hair is always controversial. Some people either hate it or think it should be immediately donated. Women tend to think short hair is more mature and sophisticated. But a lot of people love it, especially guys. Very long hair like yours, if healthy enough to be cut blunt at the ends, can be very beautiful.
If you're young and socially active and single, then there are a lot of pluses to having long hair. If you're at that point in your life, enjoy your hair, and are comfortable dealing with the extra work of very long hair, consider keeping it. But a lot of women cut their hair short when they finish school or settle down or get married, and don't want the extra work of long hair or want/need the attention from guys.
When you are ready to cut it, you'll want to go short (above your shoulders). It will give you a totally new look and you'll be amazed at how light and liberating it is. But only you can decide when you're ready to do that.
Your hair can be too long and still be beautiful in and of itself. Right now your hair is the main attraction. If you like that I would suggest you keep it as is. However, if you want your hair to bring together the rest of your best features, cut it - to your mid-back is nice as well as just below the shoulder level. Length is good, don't go too short! Just think of it in the two contexts I mentioned here and decide based on that.
Girl when you go to hug a friend you don't want all those curls in the way! you need straight hair because its easier and if u go to hug a friend it lays flat and not in their face. another thing about straight hair is that, most people don't have to straighten their hair so it doesn't get damaged.

in my opinion past your butt is too freaskishly long. cut it like a couple inches past your boobs. i think thats a good length.
uhhhhmmm.
i say cut it around your rib cage, or even shorter.
dont cut it above your shoulders.
but definitely get it cut!
umm past your butt...thats nasty ! its like witch hair..cut it towards the middle of your back with long layers plus you should have a change
No long hair is beautiful and in a sign of powet. Anyone who wants your hair short is just jealous.
Short
I used to have long hair (not quite as long as yours though). I just decided to let it grow out for no real reason. After about a year I decided to have it cut and donated to locks of love. I didn't really want to cut it but it was donated to a good cause so it felt nice to be able to help others. Plus it will always grow back. But I will warn you that it is a weird feeling going from having long hair to short. Even in the summertime you might feel like you are a little bit colder because you don't have all that hair keeping your neck warm. You'll also save a lot of time in the morning getting ready as washing short hair is a breeze and it only takes a minute to dry!!! I've not had the long hair in about 2 years now, and my lady friend likes my hair shorter, but I've been wanting to grow it out again and it's finally started to get shaggy again, so I don't have any plans on cutting it any time soon.
In short, I can't tell you whether or not to cut your hair but if you do, please donate it (it only takes a few minutes and you will make someone very happy!!!) also know that it will come back. You'll get a lot of compliments too I'm sure as it is such a drastic change.
