Right now my hair is about shoulder length. I really love long hair, and im trying to grow my hair to my waist. The thing is though, while trying to grow it long I always get bored and decide to cut it short again. I'll probably cut my hair at the end of august, do you have any ideas of hairstyles that are INTERESTING but will keep the length? i had this SAME problem
just get it layery. that way you are cutting length, jsut not all the length. and do something dramatic with bangs. straight across. heavy side swept.

The same exact thing happens to me. I always want to grow mine long, and I tell people ';I can't wait till my hair is long';, but eventually I get tired of combing it or wearing hats. So I always end up getting it cut short. I just got it cut a couple days ago actually.
If it's already shoulder-length, that's pretty long. Just keep brushing it down, or maybe wear it in a ponytail.
well i had long hair, and i wanted to keep the long hair, cuz i have really nice waves (not to brag or anything) and i didnt wanna cut it short, cuz my waves wouldnt be very visible, but the problem for me was when i grew my hair long, it was long and kinda flat out boring. u know what i mean? it was like long and lifeless. sorry i dunno how to explain it. so i got a lotta layers in the back, to make it look nicer even when it was long, and maybe if u want u can get sidebangs or something. but it depends on ur face shape/hair type on what hair suits you.
and if u really want long hair, you should grow it out, see how it looks and if u dont like it, u can easily get it chopped off. haha, good luck
i have the same problem. i just layer it every 6 months or so and do a highlight or color.. close to my own color but enough to make it different and shake it up.
